BODYTELLING: UNDERSTANDING YOUR BODY TO UNDERSTAND OTHERS

BODYTELLING
INSTRUCTOR: ARIETA CHOUHOURELOUS
LANGUAGE:GREEK
COST: €30

The latest neuroscientific research suggests that our bodies—brains included—have evolved, primarily, to relate and love. Surprisingly, too, language by itself is perhaps the least sophisticated tool for creating and sustaining the bonds that allow us to do so. This 3-hour workshop will focus on simple mindfulness practices for understanding our own “body language” that have the potential to transform and deepen our most important relationships. Breath-work, attentiveness exercises and creative expression will be our tools. Workshop attendees will also receive: —a recording with an introduction to the scientific concepts and empirical findings on love, attachment, remembering, and tuning into one another. — a follow-up consultation with Arieta addressing all queries that might emerge in the week following our work. Arieta will receive your questions via email, and will record and share all queries and answers with the group in complete anonymity.
