Once a year, when the moon is full and there is enough beer and wine in the air, writers, poets and bards emerge from their lairs to howl their sorrows, joys and unpaid parking tickets into the lonely chasms of the night.
Do you have a scary story, real or imagined, to tell us? A spooky poem? Are you spooky? Do you sometimes scare people away with your singing* even though your lyrics aren’t bad? Do you moan spontaneously at bus stops? Growl? Do you value the basic sadness that is elemental to all horror? Are you a vampire or werewolf, or are you romantically involved with a werewolf? Or have you just written a song, poem or story that happens to coincide with the Anglo-Saxon Night of the Dead?
Bring it on.
