We're taking Story Craft on the road this summer for two special workshops at WriterHouse in Charlottesville, Virginia. If you're in our neck of the woods in August, drop by. If not, look for a new run of Story Craft courses in Nicosia at our new digs in Old Pallouriotissa starting Spring 2019.
PLOT PART 2: PLOT IN ACTION
Just like good music in a movie, when plots are done right, you might not even notice them. In this second four-hour workshop, we’ll be looking at actual plots from stories that work and then taking them apart to see why. After that, we’ll see how the missing piece in this puzzle—character—interacts with plot to turn a concept into a relatable, gripping story. Participation in the first workshop isn’t mandatory, but the two do work as a useful progression.
